The Majlis Al-Shura will be mainly responsible for drafting the new constitution of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Its members will debate and draft the new constitution that will represent the Egyptian nation throughout the future.
After the constitution has been drafted, the Majlis Al-Shura will have the following duties:
1) Ratifying all amendments to the Egyptian Constitution
2) Approving all deals and treaties that affect Egypt's territorial sovereignity
3) Interpret the Constitution in reference to political events
The Majlis Al-Shura members will be elected via the forums, and will serve a term of one month. The elections will be held in conjunction with the Presidential elections.
